Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI)is a Research institute situated in Jorhat in Assam. The RFRI institute works under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.
The Centre advanced steadily in terms of infrastructure and established itself as a nucleus for research on forestry and ecology related issues of the region.
